About Custom PVC Patches
Custom PVC Patches supplies made-to-order PVC patches for businesses, organisations, clubs, teams and individuals across the UK.
Every patch starts with your artwork. We help turn that artwork into a production-ready design, provide a digital proof for approval, and produce the finished patch to the agreed shape, size, colours, relief and backing.
Our aim is simple: make ordering custom PVC patches straightforward, transparent and reliable.
Who We Are
Custom PVC Patches was founded by Jack Davidson and is based in Glasgow, Scotland.
We focus specifically on custom PVC patches rather than treating them as one small product in a much larger catalogue. That allows the ordering process, artwork guidance and product information on our website to stay centred on PVC patch production.
Our customers can order patches for applications including:
- military and tactical kit;
- workwear and company uniforms;
- motorcycle clubs;
- sports clubs and teams;
- outdoor equipment;
- security uniforms;
- merchandise and clothing brands;
- events, groups and organisations.
We supply customers throughout the United Kingdom, including eligible BFPO addresses.
What We Make
Our patches are made from flexible polyvinyl chloride and can be produced in a wide range of shapes, sizes and finishes.
Options include:
- 2D PVC patches;
- 3D PVC patches;
- custom die-cut shapes;
- Pantone-matched colours;
- glow-in-the-dark designs;
- reflective designs;
- PVC and embroidery combinations;
- hook-and-loop backing;
- sew-on backing;
- adhesive backing;
- plain backing.
The right specification depends on where the patch will be used. A removable tactical patch may need hook-and-loop backing, while a patch intended for permanent workwear may be better suited to sew-on attachment.
We help customers choose an appropriate construction before production begins.
From Artwork to Finished Patch
The process begins when you send us your artwork, logo, image or design idea.
1. Artwork Review
We review the design and prepare it for PVC production. Where necessary, adjustments can be made so that small text, fine lines, shapes and raised details reproduce clearly.
2. Digital Proof
You receive a digital proof showing the proposed patch design before production.
This gives you the opportunity to check the layout, spelling, shape, colours, dimensions, relief and backing.
Nothing should move into production until the design has been approved.
3. Mould & Production
The approved design is converted into a mould for the patch.
Depending on the design, the patch can use flat 2D relief or sculpted 3D relief. Colours are applied according to the approved specification before the PVC is cured and finished.
4. Inspection & Delivery
Finished patches are checked against the approved design before despatch.
Orders are then sent using tracked UK delivery services, with BFPO delivery available where applicable.
Why We Use Digital Proof Approval
Custom patches are made specifically for each customer, so getting the design right before production matters.
Digital proof approval creates a clear reference for both sides.
You know what has been approved, and the production team has a defined specification covering the important details of the patch.
This is particularly useful for:
- brand colours;
- names and numbers;
- detailed logos;
- unusual shapes;
- 2D and 3D relief;
- backing selection.
It also helps reduce avoidable mistakes before the mould is created.
Our Approach to Quality
Quality starts before production.
A good PVC patch depends on suitable artwork, sensible dimensions, clear colour references and the correct construction for its intended use.
Finished batches are checked against the approved proof for areas such as colour, dimensions and surface finish before they are prepared for delivery.
If a patch does not meet the agreed specification, the issue should be identified rather than knowingly sending an unsuitable product to the customer.
Built Around UK Customers
Our service is structured around customers ordering PVC patches in the UK.
Pricing is provided in pounds sterling, artwork is approved before production, tracked UK delivery is available, and customers have a named business they can contact if they have a question about an order.
We also provide detailed information across the website covering PVC materials, backing choices, design requirements, sizing, durability, ordering and product applications so customers can make an informed choice before requesting a quotation.
